For those using the MM 4.6 swap kmember with the Oil relocation.

Which headers have you been able to use besides the stock manifolds?

Kooks Long Tube do not fit.

I would like to hear from experience not hearsay.

Thanks for your help.

I was a Maximum Motorsports dealer and have had good luck with JBAs, but I don't use long tube headers.

JBA shorties appear to work from the looks of them on the website.

Curious if any LT would fit.

Thanks for your quick response.

The JBA shorts work great. We represented JBA at Fun Ford Weekend events (before they sold to Pertronix) and sold a bunch of them. One of the questions you need to answer is what emissions control system are you using. That may impact which production year header you choose. If you are not running emissions controls, I like the '96s for ease of modification.

We have had many use the JBA mid-length headers with 3" collector with many aftermarket K-members and even stock. We also have our JBA shorties and they will work 100% but they have a 2.25" collector so you have a smaller outlet on the headers. Check out the mid-length images below and if you need any additional information please let me know.

Mac long tubes fit well with the granatelli k member in my 85. Had to remove them though because of ground clearance issues with my car. The bassanis fit well in my brothers car with the same style k member as mine.
