Hi everyone,
I thought I would share my project. I have an 88 convertible that I am swapping a 1997 Mark VIII 4.6 into. This project is a year in the making and I just now started tearing down the car. This my daily driver so I would like to keep down time on the car to a minimum.
Anyways here are the particulars of the swap:
1997 Mark VIII 4.6
T45 Trans
SN95 8.8 with 3.27's
Mark VIII computer and wiring harness
1996 K-Member
Fox rack and pinion with SN95 inner and outer tie rods
1996 Spindles
1996 Hydroboost brake booster
Dual Piston PBR Brakes
1999 Cobra wheels
Fox 5.0L fuel lines
I've got the 2.3L out and now I am working on the brake line plumbing, hydroboost lines, and wiring. I bought the EVTM's for both the Mark VIII and the Mustang and I think I have a pretty good handle on the wiring, but we will see, haha.
