93 Coupe/96 Cobra Project

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, and found it through Corral. This is my first time building a car like this, and my first time doing a Modfox swap. I'm sure I will need help along the way from folks who have already been around the block with this type of build.

I bought the roller at the beginning of October. It came with almost everything I needed to put back together, except for some interior and trim pieces. I bought some of those pieces from Latemodel, but most of the missing pieces were found from a junkyard. I bought a 96 Cobra motor, T45 trans, ECU, harness, and k-member this past weekend and it will be ready for pick up around Christmas. Here are some pictures of the car beginning when I bought it, up until now.

Good looking coupe. May have jumped the gun installing the interior but that's the joy of a mod Fox put it together and then take it back apart

Two questions already:

1.) I will have the K-member from the 96 Cobra. I've read a few articles on how to install, but want to get some clear information. Do I need to modify, and if so, how?
2.) Does the hydroboost come on any car besides 96-04 GTs/Cobras?

Pretty simple you have to notch the back of the k member pony boy has a really good write up on the kmember "mod"

Nice little coupe and a great place to start. You're right. You will be a pro at parts of the interior by the time you do finish, but its all good. And he is right about the K-member...test fit it, mark it, mod it, have fun with it.

Question - I am using the fox rack. When I tried to install the steering shaft, but it's a bit short. What steering shaft should I be using?

Also got the K-Member in, but I forgot to get pictures of that.

I had a friend tig weld a long shaft onto the steering section, so that worked out. Just an FYI for anyone that needed help with that.

As far as driveshaft - does a T45 bolt up?

They don't always go that smoothly. Congrats on having a heartbeat in your beast

Next steps are putting the dash back in, installing driveshaft, putting on bumper and hood, then 5 lug conversion. If I had endless funds I could probably get this done next week lol. It's been a very rewarding experience.
