98 mustang 4.6 intake question

My dad had a 98 mustang gt 7 years ago and under the ford worrenty the plastic intake was replaced.
I have another 98 gt that I'm putting the driveline into my fox. how do you tell if it was replaced or not ?

Look at the front of the intake. If the front strip is aluminum, it was replaced. If it is all black plastic, it was not replaced
