I got this from another site... Anybody made this stuff before?! Im gonna make a batch pretty soon. If it turns out I know what I'm passing out as Christmas gifts this year!!!
Homemade apple pie shine
1/2 gal apple juice
1/2 gal apple cider
1 cup white sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar
6 cinnamon sticks
750ml Everclear
Mix all but the Everclear in a pot and heat till it's almost to a boil, to make sure the sugar dissolves
Remove from heat and let cool. Add the bottle of Everclear and pour into Qt. jars and you're done.
Drink with caution!!! I hear its a little potent but delish!!!
Also don't leave the cinnamon stick in to long afterwards because it will bleed out and add too much spice... That and if you use a clear cider as opposed to a cloudier cider the end results will be the same but just as tasty...
PS, it's really good mixed with Vanilla ice cream too
