Looking for info on long tubes

Was wondering if anyone else has run pacesetter long tubes on there 2v fox and how they had to modify them to work. I got mine really cheap and already installed the pass side and the steering shaft won't go through with it being on the fox. I have a buddy who is gonna do the work just need to tell him how to do it just wanna see how other people have done it if anyone has

torch hammer and a pry bar. just massage the shape of it

Yea but I feel like it's gonna close the pipe almost in half if I do that

heat it and push it with a pry bar, be shocked how much a whole tube will move when its hot
