It's a link to the SEMA Be cool bomber project car builder's experience with a RF wiring kit. They used a RF wiring kit for their V10. It was a poorly executed kit.

So if the RF set up is only for the motor how does it make for a cleaner wiring job?
Does the computer matching the motor plug into the Telorvex and then you have the wires going out to the motor?

yes the computer matching the motor does plug into the Telorvex and the wires all to the engine sensors...

What about the gauge cluster etc? It appears most guys swapping the mod motors into their foxbody mustangs use the gauge cluster that came with the motor. If someone wanted to keep the stock foxbody gauge cluster or run an aftermarket cluster would the wires have to be spliced through the computer?

Is this pretty much the only show in town as far as aftermarket harness for this swap?

I considered their harness for my 4V swap into my 63. I opted to just diet my factory harness after seeing how little I actually needed. It's really simple and not that many wires. Plus it's wired into a new body harness and fuse panel. I think the price for those is insane. I also hid all my wires. If you're going for a show car, then get the harness. People walking around at shows seem to care more about buying and installing than they doo about building and modifying it these days. Not saying that the RF setup is bad. I just like the idea of doing it myself and saving a buck. More personal satisfaction for me.

    See, no wires all over.......

And I wired it all into this body kit that was less than $200. It wires everything including the dash but I understand you guys are working with Fox cars. I did this harness in a Fox with a 302 once too.

The RF stuff is real nice and can be installed clean. Just not for me. I guess it comes down to the time and effort you want to endure or if you want it done faster regardless of cost. Military retirement pay made the choice for me ;(

Good luck with it. Pics of course!

I agree the harness make it a quick simple install but I personally like to do the work myself. Reason why I have a cut up crown vic wiring in my mod fox
