Any more progress on this, Bob? I have been meaning to stop down again and see the SVO after the t-roof and IRS swap. Been a LONG time since I have been down your way though!

Been busy building up a 04 Cobra IRS for a buddy. I have however, rebuilt the front suspension and adapted Cobra rotors and calipers to the CV spindle.

thanks all!

Brake conversion. Required turning the hub diameter down to match the Cobra rotor, plugging the original caliper bracket holes and redrilling, and adding .060" spacers and longer bolts.

Is the 04 IRS going into your truck, or are you keeping the Lincoln unit?

Life is good when you are a machinist! Spare time equals home projects done!!

It's for a buddy in Mich. He's putting a complete Termi driveline into a low mile Bullitt. Full on MM front suspension, pullied Eaton.

Yeah, I've taught myself machining. I'm an electrical engineer by trade.

I thought you were a machinist. Maybe it was you taking stuff to work and giving it to the machinist!

I'm going to a yard here next week to look at a MKVIII for the rear-end and steering column.

I've got a full machine shop at work, and I do when he has time, have our guy help me. But most is done at the house on my mill and lathe.

Industrial electronic repair and calibration is my "day" job.

Cool job and side job to have! I am just an aircraft mechanic.

You still have your MKVIII? I just picked up a 97 for a donor but decided it was too nice to kill. Now I am thinking of modding it WHILE I build the other MKVIII-powered project!
