I doubt that I would have chosen that color, or that wing. For a purpose built Mustang to run the Texas Mile, I might have built something just like it. I have wanted to run the Texas mile since it started. I will probably run it in my vert just to see how fast she'll go.

My only problem with running the vert there is that you have to have a roll cage and run with the top up. I'm not running 150+ with my top up. And, I wasn't really planning to up a roll cage in the vert. I have looked at the Maximum Motorsports unit, and might still decide to do one, but not in the plan at the moment. A street class coupe with a mod motor would be a different story.

I agree. Put a good stable New Edge suspension and upgraded breaks, a N/A Cobra motor at around 400 rwhp/T56 and good shot of NOS and she would do 250 at the Texas mile or close to it.
