Well I picked up the hydroboost w/lines and pump, cross member, LCAs, steering rack (complete w/tie rods) and a few other misc. bits from a friends 98 GT. I'm waiting to see what else I can score from it since he's going full race car mode. Which is great news for me as well! LOL
However, I'm a bit fuzzy on the steering and LCA deal. I've read some places that say the stock SN95 rack is too wide if you use Fox LCA's. However, I've also read that the '98 LCA's move the wheel back in the wheelwell. I have really found a definitive answer on whether my 86 Bird LCA's will bolt up to the GT cross member (I'm assuming it will). I'm wondering if I would source some 94-95 GT LCA's and spindles.
Also, does anyone happen to know what size fuel lines a 3.8 Tbird used? I can't seem to find that info on the Bird/Cougar specific sites.
