On 06.13.2013, I made it to the local track to see where the car is at with a stock tune, 3.55 gears, and DR's.

I got 10 runs in. First run of the street was a 14.0 @ 102. By the end of the night, I got it down to a 13.1 @ 103.7.

Here is a few pictures of my slips. I will be posting in car videos as soon as I have time to crop them down.

93 Mark 8 engine (unknown mileage)
Stock T-45
Mid-pipe and cat back
3.55's
255/50/16 DR on pony wheels 35psi
With both sway bars attached (front is 1 5/16") stock struts, worn out KYB's out back.

As taken to the track.

Great start. What drag radials?" These 4v motor are dogs on the bottom end, gears fix that. Don't be afraid to launch it. Mine keeps going faster ever time I take it to the track.

I am currently running BFG 255/50/16's, cutting a 1.81 60', launching at 5500-6500.

I am leaving the 3.55's in because they will compliment a P1SC or Turbo, in the future very well.

Yes, no matter if I launch at 5k, 5500, 6k, 6500, makes no different it still bogs coming out of the hole. If I was staying N/A I'd jump up to 4.30's or 4.56's.

-Update-

I went to the track a couple of weeks ago. I got a better time but, my trac-lok started to go kaput!

Ever inching closer to that 12 second time slip.

13.11 @ 104.14
1.78 60'
Launching at 7k.

I'm sure that when I rebuild the trac-lok and drop the gigantor front sway bar, I'll have that 12 second time slip.

In other news, my front secondary, passenger side chain tensioner decide after 20 years to call it quits.

All four have been replaced. I'll include details and pics on that subject in my build thread.

Cool man, those are some pretty good times considering how the car is set up.

Did I read P1SC in there somewhere?

Can't remember. Did you ever dyno the car? They dyno around 270 right?

When the Mach 1 motor in my car was stock is would bog on anything below 4000 rpm and that was with 4.10 gears and 275 MT Drag radials. The mach 1 motor dynoed 302/303 whp/tq and ran 12.7@109 bogging for one pass then shattered the rear end leaving at 5500.

Mine dynoed at 272/292. I launch at 6500-7k, on a 255-16" M/T drag radial.
