Trans mount? Does it need to be moved back?

I have most of the stuff for the swap, but i still havent got in the aje k-member yet im waiting on the spring perches. i was wondering will the stock trans mount have too be moved back? Is the 4.6 drivetrain longer than the 5.0 drivetrain?

That is a correct on the trans mount your gonna have to custom fab one and set it farther back. What kind of swap are you doing?

Im sure it needs to go back also. Especially if your doing a T56. D&D performance makes a crossmember for T56 swap which mounts behind the existing mount and bolts to the frame rails.

Im doing a swap from a 94 mark viii. I have a t45 a fidanza flywheel, b&m shifter. king cobra clutch.
