Yawn... driving this car around with a 4cyl and 3.55 rear end is way too boring. Lets put in a forged and bored / stroked out 4.6 in front of a TR-3650.

That will be a nice one when you get it finished, it appears to already have some parts on it in its current state. Good luck with the build and keep the pics coming for us.

Nice. I am glad I found this site. I will soon be getting a 87-93 foxbody roller to build. I am wanting to put a 4.6 Sohc motor in it. Looks like ill get alot of needed info here.

I plan on keeping the fox interior. It has been repainted and reupholstered. I did the hydroboost conversion when I converted the car to 5 lug a year ago.

Spent today removing the wiring harness, stripping and painting the engine bay.

Are you gonna run a distributor in this car, the reason I ask is the bung on the front driver VC.

I do have a distributor drive setup, but I am actually considering just going with a factory harness and PCM.

I made my own dizzy drive it worked until the weld broke on the dizzy, so I ditched the idea and went with all new wiring.

Thanks Bill.

I plan on dropping in the motor in tomorrow morning. I spent today bolting up the clutch and transmission to the motor, and also cutting open the hole in the transmission tunnel for the shifter.

I need to buy some longtube headers and a bunch of other stuff like wiring harness, pcm, throttle cable and body, etc.

Any recommendations on the exhaust? I was looking at the MAC Longtube headers.

I like Mac headers. They are a great value line product that are durable and will give you good service and bang for the buck. Will you need to be CARB legal?

Holy Cow, less that a finger between the valve cover and the firewall?! That is tight in there.

Looks good, and I hope I can get mine looking as good!

If it becomes necessary, you can make an adjustment on the Kmember to gain an additional 1/4 to 3/8th inch.
