1981 Ttop coupe 4.6 4v swap

Well it’s in. Used a qa1 k frame. Now need to figure out headers and suspension didn’t realize there’s no coil spring buckets on a qa1 frame.

I tried to use the the Coil overs from the 1998 but they wouldn’t work had to order a kit off Lmr

This is the kit I ordered from lmr…. i did have to do a little grinding on my stock struts.

just bought a qa1 k member off marketplace for cheap for my coyote swap

I did a 4.6 2v/t45 swap in my car a year or 2 ago, was a mission, but absolutely doable!
tons of good information on this fourm

Are you coyote swapping the same car or a different one? A lot of the coyote swaps I've seen are using the Volvo electric power steering pumps to work with the Fox and SN-95 racks. There is a ton of information out there on it. They used to be a problem because they had to run in limp mode at 70%, but now there is a controller available that lets you run them at 100%+ to make them work with open track and autocross cars. It also lets you hide the pump in a fender well or even in the trunk and put it where you need the weight to balance the car.

You're gonna love the newer dash. And the reaction you get at shows and cruise-ins will be very rewarding.
