Engine Grounding!

Mustangs in general have very poor engine grounding, not to mention that your older higher mileage fox bodies have corroded and damaged engine ground straps. This is especialy important on cop mod motors.

Upgrade your engine grounds using a combination of 8 and 4 awg marine grade or high quality audio amp wire. connect 8 awg wire to each head leading to fenders. 8 or 4 off of alternator bracket , 4 off of main engine ground, and an additional 4 awg wire leading off of negative battery terminal to inner fender.

Ever see the import guys running engine grounding kits like this http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1506? its for a reason. Helps engine provide more power to ignition since all return voltage from coils pass from plugs to heads through block to a insufficant engine ground then through an insufficent main battery ground strap.Does it make sense to upgrade to bigger plug wires if the current cant be returned? additionally it will give better accuracy on some sensors and make the charging system more efficent.
