Ok, so I have a 1987 fox with a 1998 mark viii engine, 1998 gt pcm and wire harness. I'm also running the 98 manual transmission.
My tuning is done through sniper special forces. I bypassed the pats system, changed injector size to 24's, set the speed limiter to unlimited, maf is set to stock which is where the car seams to run best. The car runs very well in all rpms 1st gear pull through second, and then at 45mph, the car shuts down. If you stay in gear it relives again below 45mph. Has anyone had shut down problems like this? Anyone have any experience with sniper? I've been going back and forth with a guy from sniper who is trying to help me, but he doesn't seam to think it's tuning related.
