modular in chevys?

I m a guy that thinks keep them separate but I m kinda tired of Chevy engines in everything but there is a guy here that has an 03 cobra engine in a 74 nova , rumors of a shop putting a SC 5.4 in a square body s10 and there's a 80s model long bed Chevy with a SC modular that goes to the track running 10.70 in the quarter
its kinda funny because a guy with a bb chevy engine in a fox had an attitude about a ford engine in a nova
any body seen this kinda stuff?

I was wondering what kinda of swaps people have seen and trying to get an idea why Chevy guys think its ok to put Chevy engines in anything but get attitudes about a ford engine in a chevy
