New here hoping to learn a few things about drivetrain swaps

I am working on my first 4.6 swap into a fox. About halfway done with it, but I have come here to learn even more about the finer things involved.

Picked up a salvage title 92 fox coupe supposedly was a highway patrol car. I think it had been hit in the passenger door and was never really properly fixed. I am slowly bringing it back from the brink of being crushed and gone forever.

After owning for about a year I hadn't done much to it and wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it. After talking to my brother he mentioned a mod fox. After some research I was hooked and started looking for a complete mark VIII. I found one shortly after and drove it home from a ford dealer for a paltry sum of 700.00. Right now I am removing the wiring from the Lincoln before I send it off to be turned into paper clips.

The best part about this swap is I am only about 200 dollars deep from selling the old parts from the mustang. I purchased a hydroboost to install in the mustang and that is where the only cost out my pocket has come from so far, so I hope once I scrap the donor I will be money ahead!

Anyways I hope to start a thread with pictures since I know everyone loves pictures soon!.

look for a tag up by the driver headlight on the headlight panel and it will let you know if it is a SSP car. Kudo's if it is they are getting hard to find.

Thank you, I plan to be here a while. After I finish this one I plan to do another but with a complete wrecked mustang. Maybe with the new 5.0
