How was track prep? I know sometimes they're not that good in the cold weather. What year is your 4.6? 285 seems awfully low for adding a supercharger. Unless it's a stock NPI engine. In which case, buy my PI heads/cams and it'll put you over the 300rwhp mark easily.

The track prep was actually not too bad.
The 4.6L is a bone stock 1998 NPI engine. I plan to port some NPI heads and add some better cams in the future. If I install PI heads at this point, it would increase the compression ratio, which is not the best thing to do with a supercharger.

You got an amazing deal on the 4cyl. Are here the 4 cyl notches for $1k or less are a complete pile and if they are decent most sellers think they're made of gold.

About how long did the swap take to complete?

mine is a 93 4cyl swap project also. in storage while I am in England for 18 more months. Then back at it.
