thats one of the issues I'm worried about.. last swap we ran into some clearance issues, and that wasn't a 4v.. i'll keep searching for a cobra intake.

There are plenty of them out there. Sometimes you can find a complete package deal for around $500.

Trust me when I say it is totally worth it.

I have a set of 96 cobra intake cams (exhaust are all the same on the later heads, not sure about the MVIII). They were worth about 18hp, no torque on dyno. Best free mod on my junk.

Where did you find the cobra cams? I'm having a hard time finding them on ebay and the usual forum classifieds

I'm looking at a VIII engine on Craigslist. Why is it worth it?
The block and heads are the same casting as the 96-98 Cobra. The Teksid block is capable of handling anything you might want to throw at it. It is lighter than the GT 4.6, but wider because of the heads.
