5.4 dohc swap into my 92 vert

i have a totaled 99 cobra but has a slight ticking so im gonna put everything into m fox but with a 5.4 long block i have the body harness half way in right this minute kinda stuck on the door harnesses right this second but will keep u all posted

well that was a tease let see the donor car or some pics of your progress.im right there with ya on the door harnesses let me know what you come up with,are you trying to keep the fox door panels or doing the sn door panels

i am putting the whole 99 convertible harness but keeping all my 92 interior because it is in perfect shape

What are you planning on using for an intake on the 5.4?

Have a cobra intake with plates

You will need at least a 2.5" cowl hood, those adapters raise that intake up quite a bit.

working long hours so havent got much done trying to figure out if i need to run the 2 cobra knock sensors

Tune them out, they are not used on 03-04 cobras

I crammed a 5.4 in my 96 cobra with the Ause intake. Best decision I have ever made with the car.
