Sweeet! That's a great donor vehicle.
It is languishing under a tarp in NE Oklahoma at the moment. It is a cool car. It is a "XX" Cobra, which means it was a demo model at a dealership. It was wrecked four times before I got it at a salvage auction.

Yes, I'm looking forward to your progress thread. Wish I had a 4V, instead of a 2V, but mine runs pretty good. Just nothing like the sound of a 4V

Agreed. Mine was able to move under its own power to get on and off the trailer when I first bought it. I will probably do rings/bearings/gaskets/timing components as a rebuild before I actually install it. Over the years, I have gathered a large pile of parts for this project, but it keeps getting sidetracked by something else.
