Our Project was
1995 Mark VIII in a 1988 Mustang LX
Which does not have the CONSTANT CONTROL RELAY MODULE - (The CCRM controls operation of the fuel pump, electric cooling fans as well as other functions that will not be used in a aftermarket application). 1995 Mark VIII has VARIABLE CONTROL RELAY MODULE - (The VCRM controls high and low speed operation of the fuel pump, variable speed electric cooling fans as well as other functions that will not be used in a aftermarket application). which does the same thing.
BOTH - 1995 MARK VIII and 1996 COBRA Came with the IRMC - INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL we use JB welds and removed everything from them and wired them open. We might have lost a little low end, but with the 4.56 gears we did not feel much.

I am running the CCRM in my rig. Works great! 
You do have to run the CCRM in order to control your fuel pump and fans..

Svt Fox are you running the gt or the cobra ccrm or are the basicallly the same
I am running a GT EEC. I can't confirm that they are they same however, I wouldn't be surprised if they were. See if they have the same part numbers.
