i just installed a brand new wildwood big brake kit on my 96 cobra swapped foxbody. i dont have abs. when i brake hard the front right tire locks up. dont know why, car pulls to the right too... any suggestions?
sorry for the late reply. i figured it out it hada few air bubbles in the front left caliper. thanks for your helpSo, I went through the Bendix factory school years ago. I've never worked with Wilwood brakes. If this were mine, I would look to the proportioning valve and bias valve. Most brands have some sort of distribution block that determines left/right bias and front/back bias. There is also a residual pressure valve that maintains a bit of pressure on disk breaks. I know your post is a month old. Let us know what you found. It could also be something simple like a seized float pin.
