Good for you for teaching your kids how to wrench on stuff. Sorry you hit a snag but you'll figure it out.

It is always easy to find the black running horse units. Finding a black Cobra bag at a reasonable price is a different story.

Scored a complete set of SN doors for $80. The wiring harnesses were a complete PITA as usual, but they will work for what I need.

So this turned out to be less fun than I thought it would be. I disassembled the doors and the cut the sections out of the inner and outer structures that I will used to adapt the Fox doors to the SN 95 interior panels. I also encountered some hack-work repairs and modifications done by the donor car's owner. I can't say that I haven't been guilty, but it would have been nice to fine virgin doors. I will have a great deal of trimming to do on the sections I cut, but at least I'll have plenty of metal to work with. now if I can just stop breaking saw blades, I'll be a happy camper.

Picked up a body harness for a 99 Cobra Convertible this weekend. This should be so much easier than adapting one from a coupe. Pictures to follow

4.6 2v life has been great to me.

i just secured a coyote sooo that should be really cool within the next year.
doing the 4.6 helped me build the platform so the coyote will be a only a few parts away.
coyote(500$!!!) - only part ive actually bought lol

electric pedal bracket 100$
ford control pack 2k ish
speed engineering headers 4-500
UPR k member, coilover conversion, tubular lower a arms. 800$ im sure theres shit i need i dont have listed.
but a LOT of the pain associated with coyote swapping has been bypassed in my first outing of modular swap.

Pictures look sharp. I haven't done a coyote yet. I'm looking forward to seeing it go together.

theyre INCREDIBLY pricy. people want 2k for motors you dont even get to see run,
11-14 intake valves were too soft, i found a running f150 getting parted out has low compression on a single cylinder.
tuliped or sunken valve is commonly the culprit. valve spring compressor shows up Monday to find out.
im incredibly invested already. the first swap was an absolute MISSION.
but it was fun i learned a ton and i really like having insane aspirations throughout the winter lol.
originally i was gonna find a 4v as those are easily adaptable to the platform ive already built.

but boost is expensive. REALLY expensive.
and N/A coyotes put out like 400hp.
in 2 winters maybe i boost it, but i get dirty with 233 hp lmfao. i think 400 will amount to be plenty.
