I had a similar issue but I couldn't really drive it. Got a fuel pressure gage set up from AutoZone and found that my fuel tank was dirty as Hell n was causing my car to starve for fuel n give me codes...

I really like the write and build you have done here, seems like you have a lot of work and trial/error into your build and I'm hoping to use this info during my build. It also makes me glad I found a running/ driving 97 cobra donor car to start with instead of using the mark 8 setup that I originally picked up. I can't wait to see this thing completely done, nice build buddy!

Yeah there isnt anyone around me here in Somerset besides Dustin that has a mod fox, looks like dustin wont have one for much longer lol. But there is alot of trial and error involved in it, but atleast if i do it again i will know what to do and what NOT to do. I just need to get a tune on my car and see how it runs then, i gotta turn of the smog crap and it should run like a champ. The dizzy setup worked but the guy who welded the dizzy wasnt worth a hoot so i had to ditch that route.

Whoah you're from Somerset??? I just swapped Dustin out of all of his mod stuff and he is bringing it to me next weekend I reckon. I was going to use it until I stumbled across the cobra donor car on craigslist, I will have to check you out the next time I'm down that way then. I'm 2 hours from there.

Yeah dustin's car has been at my house for awhile now needing to be finished up, i think he is gonna go a different route with the car.

Well im down to four codes lol, two i can fix with a trans harness and the other two is tune shut off only or just leave them alone. O2 sensors is two of the codes for the rear do to me not having the harness and the other two is a purge solenoid and the other is EGR. But i still have this miss at higher RPM that i cant figure out, i checked the wires all checked good, need to pull or change plugs and try that.

I found ANOTHER damn snake in my car today I HATE them things, he was tucked down in the spare tire hull. It was bigger than the one last year lol. Gonna have to put some repellent in there of some kind.

Don't know. But I have had two in the past two years lol I leave the windows down hell I don't even have the windshield in it, maybe they climb in that way who knows. I know I am not liking it at ALL. I don't even want to pull it out of the garage, gonna make my buddy do it and check it over real good this weekend.

I bet they are there if any of your cars set for awhile lol. Better check Dustin's old car real good before you go messing around it to much.I gotta do something I cant deal with kinda crap either, does moth balls work or not. I heard they did and didn't. Any suggestions ?

Well I don't think these care ever get done it you k ow what I mean lol. Glad to see some new guys with new builds going on. All you new guys remember we all were new to this at one time, so if you need help just ask we are here to help.

Here's a question from a new guy...were you able to reuse your front steering column and pinion setup after installing the modular motor? were you able to reuse the AC lines (modify), condensor and can to connect to the modular motor AC compressor?
