Well i got about 95% of the wiring labeled up in hopes of a fairly simple reinstall, I did forget to grab my taillight harness's from donor car but i can go back and get them. Need to buy my manuals and trace some wires to the rest of the plugs and see where they go and we should be ready to fit it in. I'm gonna have to extend some wires on the Mark VIII harness but thats no big deal, hope everything works out THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!! lol.

OK so I'm sorry to do this to you but on page three of you post you did your steering shaft with the pieces of metal bolted to it first off I'm thinking it mite not be safe second the shaft in the column will extend out of the column like 6 inches and bolt up just fine no mods needed

And I am thinking if u can get in there to mess with your proportion valve I think you could fix this

The reason I'm saying it mite not be safe is because I had a 260 with a corvette engine in it I did a similar mod and on the road it came apart at 50 MPH it scared the poo out of me

Just remove the bolt stick a long screw driver in the whole grab a pry bar and pry it out until it reaches

You could also remove the steering column extend the shaft outside of the car and then reinstall it if your gonna do the under dash wiring it mite be easier to do it that way

i have all new dash, column, and steering shaft to put in, thanks for the concern though lol

i changed to newer k member and it changed the shaft length thats why i did it, i dont think it wil lcome out but i made the bracket for just in case it did. you could always get a flaming river shaft but get ready to drop some cash.

Let me give everyone a little UPDATE, i started this project in hopes of the distributor setup would be a cheap and quick setup so i have decided to ditch it since it broke to my engineering lol and im gonna replace the entire harness with a cobra harness. I hope this solves the issue's im having. Started taking the old harness out today should have it all out tomorrow and the new ons started back in.

Im using a late model k frame too with fox rack and fox steering column and it changed the length but the shaft in the Column slid out like 6 inches witch was to much but it went rite Together after i lined it back up

mine may have just been seized up wouldnt budge lol, thanks for the info though i havent decided whether im gonna run the fox dash with the new wiring or swap it out. I really like the new dash though kinda makes you think your driving a SN95 car then you get out and its a fox then pop the hood and its a SN95 again lol.

I gutted my car today so i hope this shit works this time because i wouldnt put it back together even to sell it LOL. Got the old harness out and the new very close to being in, also took the fox dash out and the heater box. I left the column in so i could move it if i needed to. Still unsure what im gonna do about the dash yet. I post some pics tomorrow.

Got my ECU in the mail today ( LLX4 ) and it had a bonus with it lol i think its a bonus, anywho here is some pics. I got most of the wiring in today only thing left is engine harness and DASH lol. I take some pics tomorrow off the wiring swap, its was surprisingly simple lol almost to easy lol.

Got the wiring in my car and just set the sn95 dash and column in the car with the steering column, and BAM!!!!!!!!! the friggen THEFT light is going crazy, i am beggining to get aggrevated, seems like im beating a dead horse. If i dont get this figured out im DONE!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna be alot of good parts for sale soon if i cant get it lol.
